All About Horoscopes

In astrology, a horoscope is a chart or diagram representing the positions of the Sun, Moon, planets, the astrological aspects, and sensitive angles at the time of an event, such as the moment of a person's birth. The word horoscope is derived from Greek words meaning "a look at the hours"

The twelve signs in the horoscope are traditionally assigned to the four elements Fire, Air, Water and Earth. Applied to a person, the distribution of elements in their birth horoscope gives an indication of their temperament and general constitution.

In some ways, astrology may seem scientific. It uses scientific knowledge about heavenly bodies, as well as scientific sounding tools, like star charts. Some people use astrology to generate expectations about future events and people's personalities, much as scientific ideas generate expectation
